Electric heating and fuel heating have their own advantages. Electric heating is more convenient and trouble-free, almost no noise, no exhaust gas, and no need to worry about exhaust gas poisoning. However, the electric heating power is generally relatively large. To obtain the ideal temperature, the electric heating power is usually above 3kw. The capacity of the RV battery is limited. The 12V400Ah battery pack can only store 4.8 kWh of electricity. The high-power use of electricity will further reduce the discharge capacity, and finally the 3kw electric heater can only work for about one hour. Electric heating is only suitable for use when there is an external power supply in the camp. There is almost no way to use it for a long time without an external power supply. You can never use a generator to generate electricity for heating!
However, oil heating is currently a relatively mature heating device. The heating power is large. Even if the heating power of 3-5kw is in the environment of -30℃, the car can still be warm as spring. After installing diesel heating facilities, northern truck drivers only need to wear pajamas while driving. Diesel heating has a relatively high energy efficiency. The use of diesel to obtain heat is like burning a boiler, which is much more efficient than other heating methods. For example, the heating system of a car uses waste heat from the engine. The engine must run for a long time. Even in such a high-cold area, the engine temperature rises slowly and it is difficult to achieve a satisfactory heating effect. Fuel heating is more direct and faster to obtain heat by burning diesel.

The fuel pump sucks diesel out of the fuel tank and provides pressure for the diesel nozzle. After the diesel is sprayed into the combustion chamber, the ignition plug starts to work, and the diesel vapor is ignited with high temperature. There are multiple sets of radiating fins on the outer wall of the combustion chamber to continuously emit the heat of the combustion chamber. At this time, the fan at the air inlet works to blow out the air heated by the radiating fins, and the hot air is produced! Use pipes to direct hot air to relevant places! At the same time, the heater temperature is also adjustable, and the outlet temperature and air volume can be set freely. The higher the set temperature, the higher the fuel consumption.
The working process of the heater needs power support, but the power is very small. The working current of the oil pump + fan is about 1-2A, and the power does not exceed 30w.
At the same time, the fuel consumption is not high, and the fuel consumption per hour does not exceed 0.25 liters. The disadvantage of the fuel heater is that there is a certain amount of noise when working, mainly because the sound from the fan is louder. In addition, exhaust gas is required during work, and the exhaust system must be more comprehensive. After all, exhaust gas can be poisonous, especially when used in parking, to prevent exhaust gas poisoning.
In addition to fuel heating, gas heating efficiency is also very high. However, gas filling is more troublesome and far less convenient than filling diesel.
