Precautions For Installation of Air Heating Heater(2)

- Nov 25, 2020-

Safety instructions for combustion air guide

1: The opening of the combustion air duct must always be kept unblocked

2: When installing the combustion air intake, be careful not to inhale the exhausted exhaust gas as combustion air

3: The combustion air suction port must not face the direction of travel

4: The combustion air suction port must not be blocked by dirt and snow

5: The combustion-supporting air guide device should be inclined downward, and if necessary, a condensed water outlet with a diameter of about 5mm should be set at the lowest point.

Exhaust emission device

1: During the entire operation from the beginning of the heating operation, all parts of the exhaust emission device will be very hot. Therefore, please follow the installation instructions to install the exhaust emission device.

The exhaust gas outlet must be placed outdoors.

2: The exhaust gas discharge pipe shall not exceed the boundary on the side of the vehicle.

3: The exhaust gas discharge pipe should be inclined downward, and a condensate outlet with a diameter of approximately Ø 5 mm should be set at the lowest point if necessary.

4: Do not affect the functions of key components on the vehicle (note that sufficient spacing is maintained).

5: When installing, pay attention that the exhaust gas discharge pipe should be kept at a sufficient distance from the heat-sensitive parts. Pay particular attention to fuel pipes (plastic or metal), wires and brake hoses!

6: In order to prevent the exhaust pipe from being damaged due to vibration, it must be securely fixed (the recommended reference distance is 50 cm).

When laying the exhaust gas discharge pipe, be careful not to inhale the exhaust gas as combustion air.

7: The nozzle of the exhaust gas discharge pipe shall not be blocked by dirt and snow.

8: The nozzle of the exhaust gas discharge pipe shall not face the driving direction.

9: In principle, the exhaust muffler should be fixed to the vehicle.

10: When installing exhaust gas outlets, care must be taken to prevent exhaust gas from entering the car through ventilation devices, hot air inlets or windows.

Fuel supply device

1: Only a sharp knife is allowed to cut off the fuel supply hose and pipe fittings. The notch must not be squashed and must be free of burrs.

2: When laying the oil pipe, keep it from the dosing pump to the water heater cab as far as possible. Upward trend.

3: To prevent the oil pipe from being damaged due to vibration and/or noise, it must be securely fixed (recommended reference spacing: 50 cm).

4: The oil pipe must be protected from mechanical damage.

5: When laying the fuel pipe, it must be noted that the torsion of the vehicle and the movement of the engine must not have long-term adverse effects on its durability.

6: The oil circuit components should be protected from the heat that interferes with the operation.

7: Do not lay close to the exhaust pipe of the water heater or car engine

8: Set up or fix the oil pipe. When crossing these pipes, always pay attention to maintaining sufficient insulation spacing, and install heat radiation protection panels when necessary.

9: Do not collect dripping or vaporized fuel, nor use it to ignite hot parts or electrical devices.

10: When connecting the fuel pipe to the fuel supply hose, always pay attention to the butt joint of the fuel pipe and the fuel pump nozzle to avoid the formation of bubbles.

11: Do not use gravity or overpressure in the fuel container to deliver fuel.

12: It is not allowed to use the car's own delivery pump to extract fuel.

13: When installing the dosing oil pump, always pay attention that the pressure side should point upwards-at least a 15° increase.

14: The dosing oil pump and filter should be prevented from being heated when not allowed, and should not be installed near the muffler and exhaust gas discharge pipe.

15: The fuel injection port must not be located in the passenger compartment, and a well-sealed lid must be added to prevent it from flowing out.

16: For water heaters that use liquid fuel, if the fuel supply is separated from the fuel supply of the car, the nature of the fuel and the injection port must be clearly marked.

17: The prompt "The heater must be turned off before adding fuel" should be marked on the injection port.
